The committee on buildings, grounds and parks shall have the duty to keep a close watch over the affairs of all public parks, public grounds, and all public buildings in the City of Beardstown. They shall see that the same are kept in proper condition and shall report to the city council such improvements or repairs as they shall from time to time, deem proper or necessary.
