The Beardstown Police Department and Beardstown GIS developed this web application to provide residents of the City of Beardstown with a tool to assist them in problem-solving and combating crime and disorder in the Beardstown area. It is based upon a Citizen Law Enforcement Analysis and Reporting system developed by the Department and Beardstown GIS for use by its police officers.
This web application enables you to search the Beardstown GIS and Police Department's basic database of reported crime. You will be able to see maps and data of reported crime. The displayed database contains 90 days of information. Data is refreshed weekly. However, the most recent information is back-dated 7 days from today’s date.

This data reflects crimes as reported to the police as of the current date, occurring during the selected date range for the selected area. These crimes are based upon preliminary information supplied to the Beardstown Police Department by the reporting parties and have not been verified. The preliminary crime classifications may be changed at a later date based upon additional investigation and there is always the possibility of mechanical or human error. therefore, the Beardstown Police Department and Beardstown GIS does not guarantee (either expresses or implied) the accuracy, completeness, timelines, or correct sequencing of the information and the information should not be used for comparison purposes over time.
